The 2011 IGBA Show was held in conjunction with the National Cage Bird Show in Kansas City, Missouri, November 17 - 19, 2011.

Meet Nick Barrett
I was brought up in the county of Norfolk in East Anglia ( the eastern seaboard of England). My home town is King's Lynn.
My life with Goster canaries started in 1953 as a teenager. My first National I exhibited at was in Olympia, London, in 1956. After completing college, I continued on with Glosters. I had an ambition of achieving the best Glosters. I was able to secure stock from top breeders. Through careful selection and progress, I was able to establish the "Glenariff" stud and no other stock has been introduced since. I have been very successful with Glosters, winning top awards including four Nationals.
I judged my first show at the age of 20. I have judged throughout the UK, Ireland, USA, Toronto, Johannesburg, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Malta and Greece. I have made many friends with the judging assignments.
I also breed shorthorn cattle and pedigree sheep.
I also authored "the Gloster Fancy Canary Book".
